Experienced professionals, building the commercial web of Sri Lanka.
We're not an agency that sells "transformation." We're a digital studio. We design websites, apps and commerce platforms for companies that need them to work - every day, for years - and measure us by whether they do.

Started in a back room in Gampaha. Stayed there.
Sri Lanka has no shortage of web agencies. It has a shortage of studios that treat a commercial website like an engineering artefact - something to be tested, measured and held responsible for.
Mobiz was founded in 2010 by four engineers who'd been doing freelance Joomla work for Sri Lankan hoteliers and felt something was off: clients kept paying good money for sites that didn't actually bring in bookings. The template was beautiful; the business case was missing.
We started taking on projects with one rule: we'd agree upfront on what the site had to do - not just what it had to look like - and we'd report monthly on whether it was doing it.
Sixteen years later, that's still how we work. Our name and a remarkable number of our clients come from that early Joomla hotel-web community - which is why the URL, slightly anachronistically, still says mobiz.lk. We kept it because our clients kept typing it.
Today we are an experienced team across design, front-end, back-end, motion, SEO and account strategy. We work from the same Gampaha office we opened in 2014 - not an open-plan co-working hot desk in Colombo - and our clients span healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, hospitality and education, in Sri Lanka and abroad.
We're deliberately small. We turn down work that doesn't fit. We've been profitable every year since 2012. We don't raise venture capital, don't chase logos, and don't outsource - every line of code, every pixel, is shipped from our office in Gampaha.
That's the whole story. We're a Sri Lankan studio, privately held, with a very boring business model: do excellent work, charge fairly, keep clients for years.
Sixteen years, in brief.
A short timeline of the projects, partnerships and stubborn decisions that shaped the studio.
Founded by four engineers
Serving Sri Lankan hoteliers who needed websites that actually booked rooms. Name and URL: mobiz.lk.
First enterprise engagement
A listed Sri Lankan conglomerate retains us for their corporate portfolio - eight subsidiary sites, one CMS. Still a client today.
Moved into Gampaha HQ
Bought the building at 26/2 Jayantha Rd. We're still here. The ground floor is now the design studio.
Crossed 200 projects
Grew the team to 22. Added a dedicated SEO practice. Started our first international client - a resort group in the Maldives.
Tourism shockwave
Pandemic closed borders. Half our revenue evaporated. We kept the entire team on full pay - no layoffs. It cost us a year of growth and earned us two years of loyalty.
Healthcare & finance focus
Added dedicated healthcare and finance practices and formalised our delivery and data-handling standards.
Five hundred projects delivered
Platform relaunches across healthcare, finance and retail - including the redesign you are reading.
Six principles we argue with each other about.
These aren't inspirational posters. They're the reasons we fire clients, turn down RFPs, and occasionally rebuild our own work at no charge.
If we can't measure it, we won't pitch it.
Every project starts with the KPI that will decide whether it worked. Bookings, applications, conversion rate - something specific. Brand vibes don't count.
Slow sites don't get to be beautiful.
We ship sub-2-second LCP on 3G or we don't ship. No clients get to override this. Performance is a design constraint, not a tuning step.
We'll tell you the project is wrong.
If the brief asks for something that won't work, we say so before contract. We've lost pitches this way. We've kept clients this way longer.
You own your stack.
No proprietary lock-in. No "our CMS." Standard frameworks, documented codebases, handover-ready on day one. Fire us whenever you want.
Made in Gampaha, not outsourced.
Every line of code is written in this building. We don't resell offshore dev shops, don't white-label anyone, don't use AI-generated copy without review.
We build things that last five years.
No "ship a V1 and rewrite in 18 months." Our oldest client site has been running since 2012 with continuous iteration. That's the bar.
Eight of the people who'll actually build it.
We don't use account managers to stand between clients and the team. You work with the people writing the code and drawing the pixels.
