Core Web Design & Development Capabilities
Six disciplines, one integrated web development practice. Every capability is rooted in 16 years of engineering custom websites in Sri Lanka-not a brochure of buzzwords.
UI/UX & Custom Design Systems
Token-led design systems in Figma + code - type, colour, motion, components, documentation. Your brand's web design, made operable and scalable.
Custom WordPress & Multisite Development
Engineered WordPress builds for scale. Featuring custom ACF blocks, Gutenberg-native architecture, multisite networks, and a hardened security baseline.
Laravel Web Application Development
Custom web apps engineered on Laravel 12. We build complex platforms with Filament admin panels, Livewire interactivity, and advanced queue/scheduler ops.
Joomla Migrations & Legacy Support
Native Joomla 4 / 5 builds and complex Joomla to WordPress or Laravel migrations. We guarantee legacy URL preservation and complete SEO retention.
Headless CMS & Next.js Architecture
Edge-rendered marketing sites and web apps using Next.js or Astro. We deploy Sanity, Payload, Storyblok, or WordPress as a headless CMS for a sub-2s LCP baseline.
Technical SEO & Web Accessibility
Engineered, never bolted on. We deliver Core Web Vitals 90+, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, semantic HTML, image CDNs, and edge caching for peak search performance.

Sites that still ship years later.

Answers to honest questions.
What clients usually want to know before engaging us on a web design build.
Why is Mobiz known as joomlasrilanka.com?
We launched as joomlasrilanka.com in 2007 - back when Joomla was the dominant open-source CMS in Sri Lanka. Eighteen years later we've expanded across WordPress, Laravel, Next.js and beyond, so we're consolidating under mobiz.lk to reflect the broader practice. The old domain redirects to mobiz.lk; the team, the work and the principles are unchanged.
Which CMS or framework will you recommend for us?
We pick the stack from the brief, not the brochure. SMBs and founders usually land on WordPress or Webflow for speed-to-launch. Corporate clients with editorial complexity sit best on hardened WordPress multisite or Laravel. Tech-led teams shipping fast usually want headless Next.js / Astro on a Sanity or Payload CMS. We'll write up the recommendation with the trade-offs in week one.
Do you still build on Joomla?
Yes - for clients on Joomla 4 / 5 we maintain, extend and modernise the platform. For clients on legacy Joomla 1.5 / 2.5 / 3.x we typically recommend a migration to WordPress or Laravel with full URL preservation, schema retention and SEO continuity. We have shipped over 80 Joomla migrations.
Do you use page builders like Elementor or Divi?
No. Every site is hand-coded - semantic HTML, real CSS, lean JavaScript. Page builders are quick to start with but expensive to live with: they bloat performance, break accessibility and lock you into a fragile plugin. Five years on, hand-built sites still pass Core Web Vitals; page-builder sites don't.
What's the typical timeline?
Essential (Brand Site) launches in 5–7 weeks. Growth (Corporate Platform) takes 8–12 weeks including content. Enterprise (Multi-Region Platform) usually runs 14–24 weeks, scoped against the integration surface.
Do we own the code and the CMS?
Yes - every engagement transfers full ownership of code, designs, CMS, hosting accounts and third-party logins at handover. No vendor lock-in, no proprietary platform. If you ever want to move to another agency, you can - the site stays yours.
Services that pair naturally.
Most web design engagements extend into adjacent work. Here's where projects usually grow.
